Why We Created "Singaporeanised Jesus": Faith Meets Local Culture

The Heart Behind The Blessed Smiles

When we first started The Blessed Smiles, our mission was simple: to spread love, joy, and peace through relatable, faith-inspired art. We wanted to create something that didn’t just sit on a shelf, but lived in the everyday moments of life—on your laptop, your water bottle, or your phone case.

As we looked around our beautiful red dot, we realized that faith in Singapore has a very unique "flavor." We speak a blend of languages, we share a specific sense of humor, and we find comfort in our local identity. That’s when the idea for Singaporeanised Jesus was born.

Why "Singlish" Stickers?

You might wonder: Why mix sacred faith with local Singlish phrases? For us, the answer is relatability. Faith isn’t something that only happens in church; it’s something that walks with us through the Hawker Centre and stays with us during the morning MRT commute. By creating "Singaporeanised" versions of our stickers—featuring Jesus with local icons and "Steady Pom Pi Pi" vibes—we wanted to remind everyone that God is present in our local culture and our daily conversations.

Whether it’s a "HUAT AH!" Jesus or a reminder to "Keep Calm & Pray Can" amidst the hustle and bustle of Singapore life, these stickers are designed to be a conversation starter and a source of quiet encouragement.

High-Quality Stickers with a Message

Beyond the "cute" and "kawaii" aesthetic, we prioritize quality. Our sticker packs, like the Spirit & Truth and Abundant Grace collections, are made to last. They are more than just stationery; they are "faith-building stickers" intended to be a small light in your day.
